CPH Half – en smule skuffet

Mere vil have mere! ?

Det beskriver nok egentlig meget godt følelsen efter mit halvmaraton i Københavns gader i går.
 
Jeg følte mig klar og særdeles oplagt til CPH Half. Jeg havde styr på kosten, hovedet, planen og min taktik. Det eneste jeg ikke havde 100% styr på var min fod.
 
Jeg har de seneste 14 dage haft smerte i 3. metatars. Jeg har forsøgt at aflaste mest muligt, og gå i noget af de mest skånsomme fodtøj (Altra) for at give mine fødder de bedste betingelser.
 

Løbet

Lørdag inden løb mærkede jeg en smule til foden, og havde efter en joggetur på 5km en dunkende fornemmelse i foden.
En time på sengen inden jeg skulle ud og spise hjalp lidt på det.
 
Jeg får min aftensmad, et lille glas vin og to colaer til. Jeg kommer tidligt i seng og sover rigtig godt hele natten.
 
Jeg starter søndag morgen ud med at jogge lige knap 2km for at vågne op inden jeg skulle have min morgenmad: Nutella, hvidt brød og en meget kærkommen sort kop kaffe.
 
Efter morgenmaden gik jeg i bad, fik tapet vablerne til og ligger ned en lille time inden jeg skal op igen.
Benene føles gode, jeg er spændt og jeg føler mig virkelig klar til denne udfordring.
Jeg mærker heldigvis ingenting til min fod før jeg skal til at skifte sko efter opvarmning. Adrenalinen pumper en smule, og mit fokus er ikke så meget på min fod – mere på at sørge for jeg kommer til at starte blandt de forreste!
 
Starten går, og jeg føler mig virkelig flyvende. Jeg leder efter en gruppe, som ligger ud i tempo mellem 3.22-3.24. Det lykkes aldrig mere end 1km af gangen, før gruppen gik i opløsning. Det med at finde rytmen lykkes mig ikke, og det er mildest talt frustrerende for mig at lave de små ryk op til næste gruppe.
 
Efter 7km skete det, som bare ikke måtte ske. Jeg får et “jag” i min venstre fod – samtidig var der nogle samaritter, hvorfor jeg tænkte på at udgå. Det var pludselig en kamp for at holde smerten ud, men også overbevise mig om, at jeg stadig kunne løbe en godkendt tid. Smerterne kom i bølger, og når jeg fandt en rytme blev jeg afbrudt pga. smerte i foden.
 
Dog løb jeg i en god gruppe fra 10-16km, hvilket var meget tiltrængt. (Jeg er godt klar over det er en enkeltmandssport.)
En meget overskudsagtig løber fra AGF hjælper mig de sidste kilometer ind over målstregen, hvor jeg slutter stærkt af i pace 3:13.
 
Det var lidt en træls oplevelse, men i mål kom jeg. Også i en hæderlig tid på 1.11.40.

Nu er der sikkert nogen som synes det er dumt at løbe velvidende man har en fod som driller. Det er også helt fint, men jeg valgte at tage chancen, fordi jeg netop har set frem til dette løb hele året. Jeg løb det bedste jeg kunne under de betingelser som var gældende for mig.
 
Nu afventer jeg situationen og svar på min røntgen af foden. Forhåbentlig er der blot tale om en sene som driller.
 

Ingen grund til at være skuffet

?? Sæsonen kan jeg trods alt være rigtig glad for:
 
Jeg har løbet på bane tre gange i år (og i mit liv). Det har været en stor fornøjelse, og næste år vil jeg meget mere på banen.

5.000m 15.24 (Aarhus)
10km 32.16 (Struer)
1/2 maraton 1.11.40 (København)
(Søndersø 18.03) (Viborg)
(Søndersøløbet 18:29) (Viborg)
 
Det er, når jeg kigger på det hele, en sæson jeg er meget stolt over. Nu venter der en velfortjent pause, inden jeg starter på en masse god træning med endnu flere kilometer i stængerne. Jeg vil stadig løbe endnu hurtigere næste år – og jeg synes selv jeg har potentiale til meget mere!
 
Med Thijs som træner og Mia Sørensen som kostvejleder – så kan det altså ikke gå helt galt! ?????
 
Men mon ikke der dukker et løb eller fem op inden jeg starter næste sæson? Det tror jeg nok!?
