Jeg har løbet i flere år,  gennemførte således mit første halvmarathon i 2010 i Viborg, og mit første marathon i Hamborg 2013. I sommeren 2014 startede jeg i Viborg Atletik og Motion, hvor jeg fik øjnene op for løb. Siden min første løbetur i klubben har jeg været en ambitiøs løber.

Jeg har store ambitioner med mit løb, og har gennem de seneste år udviklet mig meget.

Når man udvikler sig indenfor løb er det ikke kun tiderne som bliver bedre forbedret. Der er mange ting som spiller ind. Det handler om at trives i det man laver, der skal være delmål og de små sejre skal fejres. Som for mange andre er skader det værste man kan blive udsat for som atlet eller som motionist. Det sker som regel når det går allerbedst.

Jeg havde opbygget en god grundkondition henover sommeren i efterået 2015, og havde gode lange træninger i vinteren. På en helt rolig løbetur mærker jeg et smæld i min højre læg. Jeg havde fået mig en fibersprængning, som for mig betød, at jeg knap nok kunne støtte mig på benet. Jeg holder mig fra træning, og lader fysioterapeuten behandle min skade.

Efter et par uger uden træning kan jeg starte med at cykle og træne på crosstrainer. Min træner siger, jeg skal optimere, hvor jeg kan, og det er især min kost han tænker på.

Jeg har selvfølgelig ligesom så mange andre unge, rigtig travlt med at være ung, og maden er relativt nemt at hente på Sunset eller hos bageren! Jeg tænker med andre ord ikke over, hvad jeg indtager af mad i løbet af en dag.

Af omveje hørte jeg at en rigtig dygtig løber fra Vejle, ved navn Mia, også er kostvejleder. Jeg skynder mig derfor at tage kontakt til Mia, og forklarer hende min situation. Jeg har haft en del skader og forkølelserne kunne jeg overhovedet ikke slippe for. Mia og jeg arrangerer et møde, hvor vi får os en god snak. Formålet for min vejledning var at få struktur på min madindtag. Hvad er godt og hvad er skidt at spise i forbindelse med sport på højt plan? Yderligere havde jeg et ønske om et stabilt vægttab til omkring 66-67 kg. Jeg forventede det vil blive indviklet og tidskrævende at følge en kostprogram, for så skulle jeg til at forberede min mad hjemmefra…
